For the purpose of this Privacy and Cookies Policy Creative Colibri refers to Creative Colibri Limited, African Licence, and www.africanlicence.com, and these are used interchangeably throughout this policy.

Creative Colibri knows that you care how information about you is used and shared and we appreciate your trust in us to do that carefully and sensibly. This notice describes the Privacy and Cookies Policy of Creative Colibri and all its brands including African Licence, and www.africanlicence.com. By visiting www.africanlicence.com, you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this Privacy & Cookies Policy.

What Personal Information About Users Does African Licence Gather?

The information we learn from users helps us personalise and continually improve your experience at African Licence. We use the information to give you a customised experience, help with your study, update you on scores and progress via emails and the website, and let you upgrade at the right time and to the right plan. We also use this information to improve our platform, prevent or detect abuses of our website and enable third parties to carry out technical or other functions on our behalf.

Here are types of information we gather:

• Information You Give Us: we receive and store any information you enter on our website or give us in any other way. This includes your name, username, password, practise test date, preference for how to use the test and input into our discussion forums or feedback tab. • Automatic Information: we receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. For example, like many websites, we use "cookies" and we obtain certain types of information when your Web browser accesses African Licence.

• E-mail Communications: to help us make e-mails more useful and interesting, we often receive a confirmation when you open e-mail from African Licence if your computer supports such capabilities. What about Cookies

Does African Licence share the information it receives?

Information about our users is an important part of our business and we are not in the business of selling it to others. African Licence shares customer information only as described below.

• Affiliated Businesses We Do Not Control: We work closely with partners, but we do not share personal information with them. We may at our own discretion share aggregated data with key partners to help them understand how our users behave.

• Third Party Service Providers: We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include running our discussion boards, sending e-mail, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analysing data, providing marketing assistance, providing search results and links (including paid listings and links), processing credit card payments and providing customer service. How secure is information about me?

What about Links to other websites

African Licence includes links to both internal (African Licence) and external (non-African Licence) websites. We select links that are editorially relevant to the content they are linking from and are suitable for the likely audience.

These links are included for a number of reasons, including:

• for useful practical information
• for entertainment or enjoyment
• for further informed comment

External links are selected and reviewed when the page is published. However, African Licence is not responsible for the content of external websites. This is because:

• African Licence does not produce them or maintain/update them

• African Licence cannot change them

• they can be changed without African Licence’s knowledge or agreement.

Some of our external links may be to websites which also offer commercial services, such as online purchases. The inclusion of a link to an external website from African Licence should not be understood to be an endorsement of that website or the site's owners (or their products/services).

Links to user generated material

Some of the content we link to on both African Licence and external sites is generated by members of the public (messageboards and photo-sharing sites for example). The views expressed are those of the public and unless specifically stated are not those of African Licence. African Licence gives you access to a broad range of information about your account and your interactions with African Licence for the limited purpose of viewing and, in certain cases, updating that information.

African Licence does not sell products for purchase by children. We sell products for purchase by adults over the age of 16. If you are under 16, you may use African Licence only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
